Alanna will be with us as a Graduated Intern. A Graduated Intern is someone who has completed an accredited Massage Therapy program and is waiting to write the BC board exams to become a fully licensed RMT.

This is a great alternative for patients that:

  • have acute pain and can’t wait to see a RMT

  • have no insurance, limited insurance or have used up their benefits

  • want a great treatment at a discounted rate while ensuring the high standards and quality of a college graduate

No matter what the reason is, rest assured that you are in great hands!

(Please note that treatments booked with a Graduated Intern CANNOT be claimed to extended health benefits, WCB or ICBC.)

Reminders:

1) Complete all documents prior to your appointment. The Pre Screening Survey MUST be submitted THE DAY BEFORE your appointment. If we have not received it your appointment WILL BE CANCELLED and a No Show fee of $15.75 will be charged.

2) Please do not show up more then 5 minutes before your appointment. We will call you into the clinic. (There is minimal cell reception in the underground parkade, Please make sure you are above ground)

3) Wash your hands in the washroom (to the left of the elevator) before entering the clinic.

4) Masks are be worn AT ALL TIMES. We ask that masks are clean and fresh.

We are doing everything we can to make sure we provide the safest care. All protocols will need to be adhered to for everyone’s health and safety. Alec completed his full-time Massage Therapy program in August 2019, graduating from the famous Sutherland-Chan School in Toronto, Ontario. Having various clinical experience during the program and a solid medical background, he decided to start his professional journey in British Columbia where he joined the team here at VIP Therapy. Alec is skilled in various modalities such as general Swedish techniques, deep tissue, joint mobilization, myofascial and positional releasing as well as hydrotherapy. He intends to build his practice helping out stroke and spinal trauma survivors, cancer and multiple sclerosis patients, pregnant and postpartum women, those who undergo post-MVA rehab and everyone in between.

Alec is a new resident of Tsawwassen and moved across country with his wife Julia, their two kids Erik and Angie and their “family’s token” Sean the Cat. Alex shares his time between the practice at VIP Therapy and his lovely family. He is especially fond of outdoor activities, such as canoeing, tent camping, hiking, and biking.

Having recently graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster,  Jackie is so excited to be working with the VIP Therapy team of practitioners as newly certified Registered Massage Therapist.  She is equally excited to welcome new & current patients through their door!

Jackie was first drawn to Massage Therapy after experiencing the numerous healing and health benefits personally. She now find true joy in seeing the difference she can make in her patients lives, whether giving them symptomatic relief from a chronic condition or simply decreasing muscle tension caused by their day to day life stresses.
